Over the past weekend I experienced about two days of light pinkish/reddish spotting. Now I've noticed that there is more then normal vaginal dishcarge. I've also been experiencing mild period like cramps for the past couple days.
I'm due to start my period in about a week (or so). And depending on what happens there I plan on seeing the doctor/taking a pregnancy test. But I was wondering if these symptoms are typical of early pregnancy?

To Clear a few things up:
I forgot to mention that the last few days I've been feeling sick to my stomach. Almost like I'm going to throw up, but I never do.....
And, occasionally I get mild cramps after my period starts, but I've never had them before (and the other symptoms are very typical of my period either =])

Very well could be implantation bleeding! You could be pregnant!
A few days before I was due with my period, I had some spotting and I was feeling like I was getting my period. A few days after it was supposed to start, I took a test, and I was pregnant!

Not for me - they are typical symptoms of starting your period. I'm 18 weeks pregnant with #2 and with both pregnancies did not have cramping or spotting.

with all three of my girls it felt like my period was coming , it just never did, but I don't remember spotting at all.
