I live in a tiny Liberal Farm Town and all of our iced drinks follow normal Law of Thermodynamics.

Some day I would like to visit a Republican Family and watch the Ice Tea overflow.

Red Staters do not drink tea - they drink "barley pop."

in case you fill your glass to the impressive with tea and %. it with ice, till it is to the rim and depart it on my own then that's going to overflow the glass. it somewhat is that if there is sufficient ice interior the tea so as that as quickly because it melts it fills the section that grew to become into occupied through the solid block if ice. So in case you have been to make your suggestions up the displacement of the ice cubes and the quantity of water that they displace, and extra sufficient ice then it might overflow. you may scale it down through including 6 oz..of tea to a 16oz glass then pouring it out into yet another glass. Filling the 16oz glass with ice, and letting it soften. then you definately can upload the water from the melted ice to the tea and degree the point. of course that's not what you somewhat had to take heed to is it? You had to take heed to. because of the fact international warming is a LIB-TARD delusion!!!!!! So, do i'm getting the ten factors, or what??

I think you have it bass-ackwards. Ice that is floating on the surface of the Arctic Ocean (at the North Pole for example) and melts, will not raise the level of the ocean. And interestingly enough, most of the melting ice that is floating on the surface of the Arctic Ocean is already in the water, just like the ice cubes in the drinks in your tiny liberal farm town. Glad I could clear that up for you, hey and visit an ocean some time, it's sort of like a really big lake, only saltier.

Water is at it's most dense right before freezing at 4ºC. When a cube melts, it will occupy slightly less space. This is not even considering the released gases that were inside the cube. Therefore, the answer is Nyet, as we like to say here in the Red states. Republican Family? We only have good Cossacks here, no Republicans. And here, we put ice cubes in vodka. Any other use is a bunch of Bolshoi.

No - because the ice in a glass of tea is floating - as it melts the level remains the same. If of course you poured water from masses of ice not floating in the drink it would of course overflow. Angel of Death - ice caps do not float - so global warming will cause sea levels to rise. As for Al Gore's carbon footprint - I am sure you are well aware he offsets his carbon output leaving a neutral footprint.

No,as the ice melts it does not raise the level of the drink,it simply takes the space it previously displaced when in solid form. Which is why the world won't flood when the ice caps melt because of Al Gore's massive Carbon Footprint.

What in the Hell are you talking about? Don't you have anything better to do in your tiny Liberal Farm Town. And where is this farm town because most farmers are conservatives.

Cold condenses. Warming expands. Also, much melting ice is on land as well as above sea level. The warming would cause water to expand and sea levels to rise even if there were no ice melting. The melting of the ice caps, much of it being on land, will cause the seas to rise much higher.
