Take your annual salary, divide it by 12, then divide the answer by 4.33 (calender month), and then divide that by the hours you work in a week. That should give you your hourly wage. Then, just multiply by the hours you work in a day, and that's your daily salary.

How To Calculate Salary

Assuming you get paid for a 40 hour work week, take your yearly salary, divide by 52 to get the weekly and then divide by 7 days to get the daily.

Personally, I take the yearly, divide by 52, then divide THAT by 40 (hours) and then you have the hourly wage which can then be multiplied by whatever.

Remember - do NOT go from weekly to monthly (or reverse) without calculating out to the year first (If I had a nickel everytime I told my students this, I'd be a rich woman). The problem is that everyone bases their calculations on a 4 week month and that is incorrect.

Good luck!

If you know your hourly rate, multiply by the number of hours you work in a day. If you know your annual rate, divide by the number of days you are paid for each year. There 52 weeks in a year. Assuming 5 days a week, that is 260 work days.

3595 calc's don't take out vacation days or sick days - if you get paid for those and only want to know how much your earn while you're actually there at work, you need to adjust for this.
