Riot!? Not only that, they should assassinate him (NOT SERIOUSLY)! For $4 million a year, he cannot lose to Louisiana-Monroe. Mike Shula didn't even lose those games. He had a close one with Duke last year, but he won. So can we possibly perceive that Shula is a better coach than Saban? No. Saban is better. This was just a BAD loss. It is his first year, but in Alabama, it doesn't matter at all. Alabama fans praised him this offseason and to some he is the "savior" of Alabama football. Now, those same people are gonna be at the gallows, cheering, "Off with his head!" He won't be fired, but I think for that much money he needs a lot of heat on him. They can't give him a payout. Maybe this is Saban saying that he want's the soon-to-be-vacated LSU job.

It is a late season non-conference game where the majority of players want to be home for the weekend or partying in the dorms. Coaches cannot help lazy players with self-motivation. But give Louisiana-Monroe all the credit, because those players seized this opportunity for a major victory.
