The birth with a rational normal mind of a deformed human infant such as the girl that was born in India a couple years ago with 8 limbs (2 arms and 6 legs). That is a mistake made by evolution (or God if you will) that is worse than if she had been still-born. Correcting the mistake was begun by surgery this year and the first operation was successful.
She had not been named Durga!

The concept of trusting ones life to a power outside oneself. It looks good in the brochure, but the plumbing and power don't work, the mortgage is way too high and the agent keeps coming around for donations.

Something you have done that you know is wrong and you keep doing it.
I believe there are no mistakes , just a learning curve. If we do something and it is not right, if we learn from it and don't repeat that again, then it isn't a mistake.
So in short, making the mistake in the first place is NOT the REAL mistake - not learning from it, IS.

Perfect example of mistake... I would say its when you have done something in which you later realize that there's no possible way to blame someone else or have an excuse for your actions. Something that you will have to live with humiliation. So what's that something you've done?

This is slightly embarrassing to me:
One evening at table, I began to speak, intending to ask my mother to pass the butter.
Imagine how red my face when I realized I'd actually said "Witch! Witch! You destroyed my life! I hate you! hate you! HATE YOU!"
It was a 'perfect mistake.'
