I always thought for some reason that I couldent get pregnant....I went to the doctors today also....tested positive there..and he also took blood...I waiting for those results, they should be in tomorrow..My question is...Is there anything you can eat or drink..meds...ect...that would make u pee positive results??
b/c its still hard to believe that I "might" be pregnant....

nope if the dr said ur pregnant and if the hpt said u was pregnant then ur pregnant congrats and its not might be pregnant it is pregnant lol

If you tested positive on a pregnancy test, it is nearly certain that you are pregnant.
When pregnancy tests are wrong, they usually give false negatives, meaning they say you are not pregnant when you are pregnant. They are very very very very very rarely false positives, and this only happens in a few special cases, such as if the woman has been on hormone treatment or has been recently pregnant.
It's probably time to consult the father of the baby, if you know who it is, and let him know. You can keep it, give it up, or terminate it. Forget what other people say for you to do and do what you feel is best for you. You should consider the opinions of the father of the child and that of your parents, but ultimately it is up to you and your feelings.
Edit: Sorry to one of the posters below; I know she didn't mention termination, and I guess I took the wrong angle with the desperation I sensed in the post. I just remember feeling sick/suicidal every time someone congratulated me after I got pregnant, so I wanted to be sure not to hurt her feelings and congratulate her. If she is hoping she is pregnant, then congratulations for sure! I might have just picked up on it wrong.

yes, this has happened to me, and both times it was truly a negative result...the tests that i took explained that the positive line would be in the same spot and the same thickness, but could be slightly lighter or darker. what i do now is by the digital tests that actually say "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so i can take the guess work out of it...the digital tests will also tell you if the test is defective or not performed properly. they are a little more expensive, but totally worth the peace of mind. best of luck!!!

You sound like me...I had myself convinced I couldn't get pregnant too. I took a test, didn't believe it so I took another one a few hours later. Still didn't believe it so I called my husband in...he said it was positive, but I still didn't believe it, so I waited 4 days and took 3 more...all positive!!

You are pregnant! False positives are very rare, and would only occur in weird cases, like if you were on fertility drugs.

If you did 5 tests there is no way they could all be wrong as they measure your hormone levels and nothing you drink/eat could effect them in that way - congratulations you are pregnant!!!

If you have had a fertility drug in the past two weeks then it is possible. If not, then you are 100%, without doubt, undeniably P*R*E*G*N*A*NT!! YES YOU!! lol

WHY does someone ALWAYS have to suggest termination, the poster SAID nothing about wanting to kill her baby!!! I am sure she is excited, nervous (which is normal) but excited! SHE didn't know she could have a baby...what a blessing....
