Ya, I have one dog, a 5 year old border collie who's the best dog in the world. I used to be scared of animals, but once I got a dog, that phobia went away.

No, I don't. I must say it is nice, living alone, to know that things are where I put them last, nothing gets knocked off shelves, and nothing gets peed on. If I had an appropriate space for a dog, I'd have one. But the only sort of cats I like are barn cats, and I live in an apartment. The landlord does not allow dogs.

Don't be scared of animals! Get a small pet, and get to know it! You will learn to love it, and it will love you. Then you wont be so scared of animals
And yes, I currently have a cat and a hamster. I recently had a dog but had to get rid of it for complicated reasons :'(. Haha its a weird combo. Dog, cat, hamster? When they would all be after eachother, but they dont.

Yes. I have a cat that is 12 years old that is named Gizmo and a 3 month kitten named Maximus. Some animals can be scary but most are not. They are usually more scared of you then you are of them

yes .. a dog, guinea pigs, a canary, zebra finches.
These are the remainders of many more which have died off from old age .. there were once ducks, a goat, several ponies,numerous cats, dogs,fish, rats, chickens and an orphaned fox cub which was returned to the wild once she was able to survive by herself.
I am sorry to hear of your fear of animals you are missing such a lot as you can learn much from contact with animals

i am a herpetologist so I research snakes all day, but I own 3 dogs and 2 cats, and i grew up on a horse farm in KY.
Animals are the most loyal friends u will ever find!

no, i don't really care for pets, just an extra responsibility, why are you scared of animals, they can be sweet and i like to see them at the zoo, i just don't want to bring one home with me, i had got 2 little lab puppies for my kids last year, a black one and a white one. my husband accidently ran over the white one after about a week because he was sleeping under the tire and he didn't see it, and just recently i ran over the black one because she ran up under my tire, and i felt horrible and the kids were sad, and we made a little grave for her in the back yard. i just don't want to deal with any of that any more.
