Why do you have a fear of going for a jog?
Are you in a bad neighborhood?
If you feel this intense about it, then you are going to have to force yourself to go.
Follow this simple plan:
In the morning, get dressed, and when you brush your teeth, look in the mirror and say, "I don't care what you think, I am going for a jog today."
1. Put on your shoes
2. Put on a jacket
3. Open the door
4. Step outside
5. Shut the door
6. Take in a breath of fresh air
7. Smell the Fall in the air
8. Walk down the side walk
9. Just walk for awhile
10. Then begin to jog
11. Make it short, just around the block.
Have Fun!

Go to bed wearing your work out clothes, put your socks and shoes right next to your bed. When your alarm goes off, just go out there and tell yourself you'll jog (might be a good idea to start with walking though) for at least 10 minutes. A little bit is better than nothing.
If you have an mp3 player, make yourself a workout mix and maybe that'll motivate you to go.
Tell someone in your family or a friend to call you and wake you up in the morning to make sure you go or ask someone in your family to go with you.
If you have a dog, take your dog with you.
Good luck! The hardest part is starting.

I had the same problem as you. For years I set my alarm to go jog or workout and could never do it. I found myself saying "You need to lose weight get in shape, your penis is flacid and unused and you need to get laid." All of a sudden it hit like a ton of bricks that I wasn't going to wait anylonger, so I imediately went to the gym and started and then just started strictly following anything I could to improve and stay motivated and make a life decision. I don't know if you have ever jogged the route before, but if you haven't then go for a jog tonight on that route, and then you will have already done it and you can do it in the morning also. People go through this cycle of working out and then finding reasons not to work out. Someone might go for months or years before working out again and all the while telling themselves they really need to get off their *** and go workout and then.....abracadabra......they one day decided to actually do it. If people could just tap into that day when "abracadabra happend" or this motivational chemical that is triggered in our minds then at some point we can do alot more.

I actually do that too! I always think it'd be fun to go out in the morning and jog, but once that alarm clock goes off, i always think 'just a few more minutes' and before you know it i have to time! so i would suggest mental preperation the night before. go to bed early so when you wake up, you're already alert to go out. The jog in the morning will make you feel reallyy energerzied all day, so when you go to sleep think about how great you'll feel all day tomorrow - after you go for your jog :)

Just remember it's going to be painfull so start slow , and don't expect much , go around the block or something short to start with , do that for a week , your ankles will hert your knees will hert so stick with short run till at the end of the week your not in so much pain then , grow ,but if you get in a hurry and bite off too much you'll feel pain and you just won't want to do it again , so go slow but go !!!
Take your time, the beginning is most important part

Imagine how it would feel to have an extra burst of energy? Maybe you've been trying to finish a game of sudoku. Or think about getting rid of that "monster" inside of her head that's winning you over! Don't let him win! He wants to laugh at your failures!! Set your clock, pick out some clothes, and don't second think yourself in the morning. Plug your ears with music and walk, then if you feel great run. Maybe you can report back tomorrow and let us know how it went. hope it helps

Is it because you don't want people to see you? Wear a hat and sunglasses. Wear clothes you wouldn't usually. If it's because you're afraid that your physical ability has declined, NOT running will only make it worse! You will feel better after a jog. Think about how sexy you'll be if you keep it up and how good you'll feel with a tight butt and toned legs.

yea, i can give u a list, but i'll give u a few.if you have a family history of diebetes, or heart dieases, or any thing like that, it can go through u, so think about urself in the future having to go through something painful..and u may not have a family history of that, sometimes, u may start something that could run through ur ownb family.and the last thing is, that if u get something horrible, sometimes its hard 2 get rid of, or u might not be able 2 get rid of it, so just T.H.I.N.K. or just
take a jog

Get out there and take that jog! It's good for your heart and blood, and you will get in shape. After you jog quite a bit, it will feel as simple as walking. Plus you will have an accomplished feeling afterwards.
Maybe you should start with fast walking first?
Good luck! :P
