In fertile cervical mucus, sperm can live up to five days however most live three days. In non-fertile cervical mucus, it dies in a few hours.

I always thought sperm could live for 3 days. Some people have even mentioned 7 days here.

if you are in your fertile period (around time of ovulation) your cm is just right and sperm can survive as long as 5 days, but on average about 2-3days is how long it will survive inside you.

I thought it was 72 hours also, but just looked it up and it said a week if there is fertile fluid present.
