In fertile cervical mucus, sperm can live up to five days however most live three days. In non-fertile cervical mucus, it dies in a few hours.

I always thought sperm could live for 3 days. Some people have even mentioned 7 days here.

if you are in your fertile period (around time of ovulation) your cm is just right and sperm can survive as long as 5 days, but on average about 2-3days is how long it will survive inside you.

I thought it was 72 hours also, but just looked it up and it said a week if there is fertile fluid present.

My DR told me that they live for UP to 72 hours... Depends on the special men! Good luck!

Sperm are feisty, stubborn little guys...they can hang around for up to a week, give or take.
