I just give birth 6 months ago in normal delivery, after 5 weeks have this itchy feeling all over my body that comes during the day several times that last 5 minutes. I also have a Urinary Track Infection (UTI) that for now i don't take my medications anymore cause i breastfeed my baby. Does anybody experience like this or just the cause og my UTI? Please help me, thanks...

Call your doc. ASAP, your UTI may have gotten worse & is affecting your kidneys. This is very serious & nothing to mess around with.

let me advise you to pump as much breast milk as you wud like to feed your baby and then start taking your medication....the itch sounds like a very bad effect of the uti...like the first contributer said it can lead to some serious kindey infection an dlet me include dysfunction...

i am sure you do not want ur baby growing up with a sick mom....and i am sure you dont want to be so sick that you cant take care of your baby....

go see your doctor so he could give something else for the itch

You need to switch the baby to formula and get yourself healthy. You will be no good to your child when you get a massive kidney infection and are stuck in the hospital. You were prescribed meds for a reason- TAKE THEM!

UTI can turn into major kidney infection, you really need to get rid of that immediately.
