My period is due in 8 days. I'm starting to get some menstrual cramps. Does that mean I'm probably not pregnant since it seems like my body is preparing for my period?? :-(

hard to say. i was convinced that i was going to be getting my period (i had an IUI so was REALLY hoping to be PG), and vented to my friend about how i was so crampy, couldn't believe i wasn't pg, etc...and she said to take a test cause she felt the same way when she found out. and what a surprise-i was pg. :) so, could be either way..only thing i can tell you is to take a test right around when your period would be due. GOOD LUCK

my period is also due in about 8 days, and I have been experiencing a little cramping as well, which is not common for me this early, I am taking that as a good sign (because it is the only sign I have had!!). I guess it depends on whether or not cramping this soon before AF is common for you or not. good-luck!

Its hard to say for sure. PMS and Early signs are pretty much the same! Good luck and baby dust to you!

I would go with yes. I didn't have cramping with either pregnancy.
