I think now that traditional gender roles have been essentially scrapped themselves, a father and mother aren't really determined by the parents gender. People seem to believe that we need the paternal care of a man and the maternal care of a woman, but I think women themselves can provide paternal care and men of course can provide maternal depending on the parenting role they choose. I believe two gay men can suffice as the necessary parents, and can equal a male and female parent, the same with lesbians. I think what's really necessary is a good bond between parents which shows a good example for relationships for their children (better social development, will be happier in later life). Personally I think fathers are just as necessary as mothers, but we must take individual apititude into account for both. I hope that made SOME sense :P.

That is a given now. If there is a question, the search engines will get the person in the proper direction.

Not neccessary to use. Impressive to say. I think, on a moderate basis, depending on to whom you are speaking.
