It's extremely informative. I have added many items myself as well as correct errors. It's unfortunate when people post erroneous information, but it happens.

Honestly speaking I do not like Wikipedia. Not because I hate because as you said it is a free Encyclopedia. So listen carefully.

A well written Encyclopedia or a book must be written by authentic authorities right.

But here in Wikipedia any one can access and write even edit.(now a days strict to edit). What I am worried is. After some years people will think what information is on Wikipedia is 100% ccorrect which is NOT. It is a kind of Blog people leave their thoughts and edit.

If you want to try go to wikipedia and edit any items as you like and leave that is HISTORY.

Did you get my point? if you did then spread the words.

I love education, specially free but that should be Correct not faulty.

Yes it is great. A lot of things wikipedia lists credible sources for. This is going to heavily depend on WHAT you are looking up.If i look up a bio term it is usually right on because it is something only someone in the field could answer to being with. Secondly they have a lot of safeguards to make it more encyclopedic -- they want the articles to be non biased, they have various people edit them, etc. I think its great.

Wikipedia is GREAT for researching things you want to know for your own knowledge, or for introductions and links to further research.

It is, however, plagued with misinformation. So anything that I NEED to know does not come from that website

It does, however, happen to be one of the sites that brings up the most history in my search engines..

I like to look up stuff there, but for hard corps stuff I don't like it. ANYONE can edit stuff there, and b/c of that a lot of stuff get written in that aren't al ALL true. But for the most part, if I need just a quick reference its the best place.

I like it, I used it wuite often when I was preparing papers for college, but use it with caution, it might have incorrect information, as people can registar and then start changing information.
