I wonder (in the south, Texas...Oklahoma...etc), do people thats against homosexual know that theres more than one type of gay guy. Everyone here seems to think only the queen type of gay guys existed (girly...weak). People here in Fort Worth, Tx also act like bisexual guys don't even exist. You never hear about no one talkin about a guy being bisexual...hes either gay or straight in of story! Get what I'm saying!?!

People are Diverse, ALL people. But at the same time, people tend to classify, judge and assign general properties to most everything (all people do this, there just aren't enough brain cells to take-in every variation so we generalize). It is of course unfortunate, but then again, if someone is prejudice or homophobe or whatever, what does it matter if they recognize each individual or not, they will hate you weather you gay, bi, girlie or manly. Keep trying to educate, some people will eventually "get it". Until then, be safe.

I personally am straight. Being in the military, there are quite strong views against homosexuality. Personally I don't give a crap. As for the gay or straight view, it's that way because amongst those who feel strongly against homosexuality if you perform homosexual acts than you are in fact a homosexual. That's why there is not this bisexual point of view amongst them.

The reason people think this way about gay men is because it's the more flamboyant which make the headlines. We are, in fact, as a group of people rather ordinary. We live our lives like most everyone else. People don't see this part of us because we're not particularly interested in broadcasting it to the world. Too many people tend to see the world in absolute terms: It's either this or it's not. I think this is a reather dumb way to see things.

I don't get it really. I've heard studies before saying guys tend to be one or the other whereas women tend to all be slightly bisexual. But that's just a trend among the general population, I'm sure it varies by person.
