No, I don't believe she is a socialist or communist. Democrats have always been "Robin Hoods". They have always put regulations on corporations and commerce and been for workers rights. This is why we don't work from sun up to sun down and why we get holidays and vacations. The regulations do have the effect of protecting consumers and stopping things like the credit crisis we are in now due to deregulation. Pure capitalism is just as bad as pure socialism. There must be some common sense and moderation in whatever we do.
We can't allow too large of a percentage of people to fall into poverty, or we will end up with pure socialism.

Clinton a commie? It's complete and utter nonsense. Republican scare campaign I presume.
We've got our own (Australian) election this Saturday and we're seeing the same shameful scare tactics. The Labor's deputy, poor old Julia Gillard, is one of the latest casualties in the Liberal party's dirty scare mongering over "unionists" [insert scary music]. It's the same sort of reds under the bed rhetoric. Howard and Bush should get together some time and have a good ol' chat about those communists, reminiscing over the good old days of the Cold war era.
VOTE LABOR this Saturday!!!! Throw old man Howard out once and for all!!
VOTE DEMOCRATS (I don't care which one...Obama or Clinton....your pick...just not Bush) next year!!!!!!

Hillary Clinton is NOT a Communist.
I find it funny that most people think that if your agenda includes social programs, you're automatically a Socialist/Communist. Hate to break it to you, but you're not. It takes a lot more than that.

Not me, she is a liberal leaning moderate, look at how she has supported the wishes of President Bush while in The Senate.

Lets see...she has more ideas for programs than the taxpayer can afford...what would that make her?
What's it called when the public's income goes to the government in return for services?
Socialism...not communism.

She's a socialist who admits a communist was her greatest influence in politics.
close enough.
either way.... she's a pig.
Clinton's Hero said this:
I knew plenty of Communists in those days, and I worked with them on a number of projects. Back in the Thirties, the Communists did a hell of a lot of good work; they were in the vanguard of the labor movement and they played an important role in aiding blacks and Okies and Southern sharecroppers. Anybody who tells you he was active in progressive causes in those days and never worked with the Reds is a goddamn liar.
