(x+4) - (-x-3)

what u do here is cha ching or convert the negative to positive. quiet simple. its like multiplying everything in the right quatations by a -1.

x+4 -1 x -X -1 x -3

(x+4)+(x+3)
2x + 7=0
-7 -7
2x=-7
/2 /2

x= - 7/2

ok first distribute the negative then rewrite the problem without the parenthesis

x+4 + x+3

now combine like terms
