like how many ___ in quarts and on down the line. My school does a goofy gallon guy. but.. i forgot!

1 gallon = 4 quarts
1 quart = 2 pints
1 pint = 2 cups
1 cup = 8 ounces

Using the information above, you can figure out:
1 gallon = 8 pints (4 x 2)
1 gallon = 16 cups (4 x 2 x 2)
1 gallon = 128 ounces (4 x 2 x 2 x 8)

1 gallon equals to 4 quarts- so 3 gallons equal to 12 quarts

there are 4 quarts in one gallon. 8 quarts= 2 gallons 12 quarts=3 gallons etc.
