If they have told you to stop calling, and you continue to do so anyway, not only could you be sued, you could be arrested.

Don't call people who don't want to talk to you.

If you are a telemarketer and are working for yourself and have been informed that either they are on a do not call list or they want to taken off your list and you call again then yes. It varies from state to state and if it is just to harass a person you can be arrested for it and then I am pretty sure they have a cause of action for which to sue you.

if your harassing them you can but it is common courtesy to respect someone Else's wishes to not call them if they ask you not to.
