doubtful... he's a handful and a pain in the @ss. Plus you dont want to scare away your fans with a chemistry killer like bonds. Im not gunna go into details about the whole steroids issues its too much controversy.

Probably not. I mean maybe the Yankees if they are stupid wnough to go after him. I mean they are going after Teixiera, when they already have Swisher. PLUS they will just throw away money at someone they don't need because they think they can prove they can "OUT BID" the Red Sox. Everyone kno they coud've got Sabathia for 7 years, 145 million, and a CLub Option. At least 150 million would lean him toward them. But no they go out and overbid for Sabathia to show off how rich theyn are. They proved that with A-Rod. And their Billion dollar stadium. Cmon' the Yanks ARE stupid enough to get im, and they'll probably pay for Bonds steroids, because they'll feel he should get what he wants. And maybe they'll hook him up with Jiambi's Steroid guy.

He won't. The Oakland A's were the only team interested and they've stated now with his future in jeopardy they will not sign him. Then there's the fact he can't play defense, making him useless to all NL teams, and that he's going to jail for 30 years once he's convicted. Bonds will never be a part of baseball again.

I would say it all depends on if he has to serve jail or not (pending the outcome of a trial). Given the choice of playing clean and signing a player with a bad rep but puts up big numbers, owners will always go for th eplayer that will put butts in the seats (usually).

If he does play, he will do under his greatest ability do to the multiple court visits, pressure, and his lack of steroid use. I bet he wouldn't hit more than 15 Homeruns if he comes back, and that's if he even does come back. I doubt he will, because of his age, and his conviction to steroids.
I do believe that they should erase his record because no ballplayer deserves a record, who went to court more than 5 times due to steroid use, and I also believe he is done for the whole time.

His marketability is, to be kind, severely limited.
But there's only a handful of players who can post a .450+ OBP reliably, and he's the only one among them available. DH be thy destiny, Barry.
2000 RBI.
3000 hits.
2296 or more runs (for the record).
2008.

there is a article on yahoo sports today about barry. it says the sooner barry goes away and faster people can forget about him, and i agree, he has done enough damage to the game, and i hope this indictment will keep him out of baseball for good, thank goodness for federal agents.

Since most of the owners are megalomaniacs with unlimited budgets, someone will sign him in the hopes it will give their team a member of the hall of fame.
