I think it has a lot more to do with how you feel about yourself, not your place in a social pecking order. Some people considered diffrent or weird could be completly happy and content with themselves, and some people who are very popular could dislike thier life. It's more about the individual then the social class they're put into.

Of course social class isn’t everything. Kindness is.

I am a teacher and both parents were teachers. I also married a teacher. I can attests that social class plays little part in my life, either way. I as raised very middle class and am now very middle class. I had opportunities, but I didn’t have everything and have made sacrifices and worked hard to get where I am.

I can honestly say that even if I won the 300 million dollar lottery, I would still be teaching, as would my husband and I would still hold on to my roots and stay grounded. I love everything about my life...its a challenge, but not so much I cant reach my goals. Besides, even if I didn’t stay grounded it wouldn’t be for long because my friends and family have this magic way on making sure no one gets too big for their britches.

But I think "everything" is happiness. I believe that true happiness comes from being kind to others. And yes, I believe this is true for the large majority of people. Just think about how you feel after you have helped someone; even if it was just holding the door for someone or something you didn’t really want to do.

I just went to the funeral of a couple. Yes, a couple. Both my grandmother's cousin and her husband passed away, nearly with in a week of one another. For all their lives they lived out in a very small rural town and were very much country people. Despite their lack of traveling the world and lack of higher education they were probably two of the most fascinating people I have ever met. Why? Because they possessed kindness. They were always very positive and willing to help anyone in any way they could. They were the definition of great people and the epitome of what is right. These are the things that make people feel they have everything. Not money, cars or how big your house is.

Besides, the world could use a little more of it.

I agree completly that social class does not determine someones potential. Anyone who uses that excuse is just lazy. I personally have lived the good life and then have been dirt poor and homeless and currently I am making ends meet but it sometimes gets a little frayed in the middle. At none of these times did I let my situation dictate who I was. In the worst of circumstances being homeless I still found happiness. Happiness is not what you can obtain with money, or social class. Look at all of your movie stars out there with so many problems. Happiness is a state of mind., It is something that you actually must choose to have. It is not given to us because of who we are. It is earned by us by what we do and how we choose to do it.

of course your social class has nothingto do with who you are and your potential. take the olden days for example, the higher classes got everything but it was the lower classes that ddi all the work.
in todays times everyone wants to fit in with the highest ranking socialites, but its the people that are studying while everyones drinking that make it in life!
Potential isnt measured by how many people you know, or what you do on your saturday nights, it's measured by how hard you try or whats inside!

I would tell them thats wrong, you souldnt be measured by who you are on the outside, people should judge you for who you are on the inside! Not how big your house is, the car you drive, what you wear, or who your friends are! most only see whats on the outside, but they have to get to know the person... they'd probably be surprised

social class is just a label put on people, it is determined mostly by income. Happiness comes from within although is influenced heavily by lifes experiences and the people in our lives.

Everyone has different personality types. Meaning we all have all the same personality and intelligence types, but the difference between us all is the amount of each personality and intelligence we have. There are infinate possibilities. For example the intelligence I scored highest on was Musical Intelligence and the personality type I scored highest on was Giver. No matter what your strongest Multi-Intelligence is or personality type is, you are always capible of other things that involve other intelligences.

needless to say, the answer to that ought to be counted on who you ask and how they define happiness :) To me, no. the international is packed with bigger type leaders and individuals who're corrupt and inhumane persons. then you certainly've the mum Teresa kinds n the international, who've fairly no longer something however the deeds they performed. Happiness is many times obtained by making use of reaching what you as a man or woman got down to end in existence. those issues that convey you excitement and self delight. each and every from time to time funds or who you already know could make your targets much less confusing to get carry of. yet, for those relatively dedicated to a reason or purpose, they are going to come across a manner. each and every from time to time the no longer simple way brings approximately lots greater significant effects than the easy way discovered with funds and effect. procuring your way by using medical college won't make you a sturdy wellness care provider. dedication is what makes the adaptation. regrettably, interestingly politics is one field that demands funds and effect with the intention to prevail. a minimum of, here in the U.S. making use of your characteristics to inspire and positioned into action the folk around you, and then reaping rewards by making use of their very own characteristic strengths, can purely coach you ways to as a man or woman be greater efficient. No CEO went to the precise on their very own. They have been given there by making use of determining on precise people to assist them.

Happiness is a rare find as it is.More money more problems is how the saying goes. But, the differences are the problems themselves.Depending on how you react is how stressful your outcome can be. Happiness is the feeling that is final feeling we are trying to achieve.Brought to you by Nabisco

I'd agree with you.Happiness has nothing to do with that and I'd say to that person "I respect your opinion but I think of it differently"
