They have all worked for me...

I have taken many tests that read not pregnant because I wasn't. The first time I got a positive reading I was very pregnant. Like 7 weeks. However the 2nd time I was 3 weeks. My mid wife said they are all accurate. I do know the pregnancy hormone is more concentrated in the morning and that will bring the best result.

I don't know that one is better than the other. You can choose an early response test that can pick up hormone, however, that's not saying much. The percent of negatives when a female is pregnant with that kind of test is still about 50%. So you can take it, it says negative, but really you're pregnant...it just couldn't pick up enough hormone. I took a test the day after my missed period and it was blazing blue. If you can wait, that's the best. I know, easier said than done!!!

Every brand I have tried worked fine.

This time I used the tests from Dollar General and got a positive result 5 days before my period was due.

The tests from the Dollar Tree are better than more expensive tests I've seen. They measure 20miU...
