I see anti-abortionists picketing; why don't they adopt some children from an American orphanage and help ease the burden of unwanted dhildren?

Many do. However we do not have a shortage of willing adoptive parents with a surplus of babies waiting to be adopted. Just the opposite. There are no full orphanages.

Because there are not many infants up for adoption in the states. Also I am sure there are pro lifer's that adopt you can not people all people in the same basket.

Because there is an average of a seven year waiting list in most states to adopt. That is why so many people have to go overseas. You Libs are killing them WAY to fast. Slow down and then maybe you can ask this silly question with at least some validity to it.

We do adopt American kids.
The reason that Russia and China (as well as other countries) are sites for adoption is, as usual, US regulation and oversight by bureaucrats. I hope you know who loves to regulate things to death.
