If you really want to be in the NBA I think that you should play college ball, if you don't that is a couple years of good instruction that you will miss out on. Also you can play in a d-league then get drafted into the NBA after college.

The odds are definitely against you. You'd probably have to go overseas somewhere, make a team, tear it up, and get noticed by bigger teams and scouts.

That said, the odds are against you. Time is the biggest foe you might have, since there's a new crop of players coming out every spring. You'd need a few years to build up your game against good players, but it would be tough for a 25-year-old to get anyone's attention. The upside of a 22-year-old is much more attractive.

you got to get yourself invited into training camp. otherwise, you can enter the D-league or in any other leagues where NBA scouts are usually around looking for prospects.

Maybe, if you enter d-league draft or go undrafted after senior year.
