Do they still make that?
I've always had long hair, I remember standing on a chair by the kitchen sink and my mother washing my hair and using Tame creme rinse. You had to put a capful in a glass then add water.
I can still smell that clean fragrance.
Thanks for the memory.

OH wait, that made me remember having to sit on the floor forever while mom pin curled my hair ( It's naturally stick straight).LOL

Hey Gladys .Sure I remember Tame. Used to use it all the time. Now I just get conditioner from the dollar store. I find as my hair gets thinner it does not get so tangled anymore. And the gray means less hair dye to make it blonde these days.

Wow, that brought back memories. Yes I remember Tame.

Grandma used to give me home perms and boy did they smell! And I would always look like a poodle for weeks afterwards! It's a wonder I still have any hair, that was harsh stuff.

I do indeed remember Tame creme rinse & used to use it all the time as a youngster & teen. I loved the way it smelled & it made my baby fine hair feel so soft & smell so good.Do you have anymore products to share with us? Do you remember the clear, slimy, waving lotion that was popular in the 50's ? I think it was made by Nestle's but I'm not sure. My mom used to use it to put finger waves in the back of her hair, after setting her hair in bobby pins.

Boy I remember that stuff and I wish I had some now. Just washed my hair in the shower, after drying it even with the conditioner I was ripping more valuable hair out. I need all I have left.

I remember Tame. I just can't remember the last time I used it. Probably back in high school! Do you still use it Gladys? I like seeing you up close. You are one hot cutie pie!

I remember Tame, but never used it. I never used anything, but shampoo until I was in my 20s and started using hairspray. I don't think I used conditioner until sometime in my 30s. I do remember my mother combing my hair and it would pull and I would cry and ask her to use the brush.
