Celtic Woman is by far one of the more entertaining concerts one can go to- not only does it have great music, great real performers (not the American Idol variety) but you get some sort of meaning from it as well. The celtic sound, symbols and language are a dying entity in our world today and it is great to go and celebrate them. I would go to see Celtic Woman every possible time.

Celtic Woman are a wonderful group of Ladies. Their voices are so beautiful. I would love to see them in concert some day.

LOVELY!
I went to a concert the summer before this one just past.
I was a little disappointed that they did so much lip sinc-ing
(thems were SPENDY tickets!)
but their performance was very entertaining and I was lifted and moved by the experience.
The amazing panarama of Red Rocks added to it all as well.
I'd go again!
And my CD collection has a sprinkling of Celtic Woman yumminess =)

THANK YOU for bringing that memory to me with your question

I like Irish music, I play Irish music.

I don't care for stuff that is too 'new agey' with irish music, I like it traditional. My fear with the Celtic Women was that is was going to sound froo froo like this.

You know, synth stuff so thick it could cause a unicorn to vomit moonbeans -

But turns out ... I kinda like them! Nice sound, good blend of old and new.

By the way, if you wanna hear my amaturish Irish folk warblings, here is a sample:

The first one was excellent. The second was lacking and I didn't like all the wild fiddling. 'Someday' made me cry. It's what this world needs to believe as a whole. The first album deserves an 8.5 the second and a 5.
