Not sure if it is racist. No one like rude, loud people regardless of color.
If da rappers call their own women Ho's and b1tches. How can they really care for anyone else?

I thought I was the ONLY one who noticed. Up until the end of 2006, this white and black thing seemed so dead to me. I thought it was in our nation's horrible past and for once, I was kind of proud to call myself an American. This has all changed!!! I have even considered moving to Canada (I don't know how the racial environment is up there though, but from the answers of the Canadians on Yahoo, I think they are more open-minded and accepting than we are). 2007 has been HORRIBLE. It's like we're falling back into the 60's. We shouldn't be having nooses hung on the doors of professors,we shouldn't have a separation of skin colors, neither should we have to defend ourselves against bigots. It's getting ridiculous and I've never seen it this bad. But keep on with your nonsense America, because if it's gets ANY worse than Canada here I come!!!

I think the whole Jena 6 and various other cases has almost everybody stirred up anymore. There was a point and time where I was seeing more racism come from the ghetto-acting blacks (and the latinos who hung around them) and its just a lot of people are fed up with it. The blacks try to make their place among latinos and try to act all latin by learning spanish and just plain trying to call all of them "black" just because quite a few of them has some african blood in there.
If blacks can go on their comedy shows and make their rants (about Puerto Rico, which they did one time, about white people, the tsunami victims, etc...) then yes people can make fun of them too. Yes, the past is the past and nobody can fix it, and I don't think anybody has a right to be racist towards anybody, but, you reap what you sow.
That's the thing with many of the blacks. Not all of them, but many of them act bitter, racist, and want to get back at the white man for everything and succumb to acting just as racist white people want them to act (ghetto, fighting over everything, looking for handouts/easy pick-me-ups, complain about everything, being overall rude, surly, and nasty). They feed their own cycles now and with the way a lot of black kids act these days (and some of the older ones too), they are reaping what they themselves now have sown.
The only way to fix that is to grow up already.

Why is the question "are people becoming more racist against blacks again?" Why not just ask if people are becoming more racist? Maybe because the real issue is not racism? Maybe the real issue is that people are not doing as well as they were doing both financially and socially. I know it sounds cliche but in the last 10 years the the rich have gotten richer and the poor have gotten poorer. The gap between the richest 10 percent and the poorest 10 percent of the country (USA) is wider than it has ever been in history. So therefore, the people that manage to keep there heads above the poverty line are far less tolerant of the "I'm a victim" and the "you owe me" attitude and therefore may seem to be more racist. But the fact is they just have regressed a notch on Maslows triangle and don't have the time or the inclination to worry about others, because they need to take care of themselves first. But this does not really answer your question. Maybe they just finally realized that rap music really sucks.....

I will say this... this is just an observation, and I am against racism. I am black and white, but often mistaken for mexican, puerto rican, or samoan. Because of this, people have came up to me and said racist things against black people. These comments weren't from just white people, but also from mexicans, and even indians (not native americans, but those from the middle east). If these were all white people saying this, I would believe that this was something that was passed on from their parents and grandparents. For whatever reason, these people have made their own observation, and came up with their own conclusion.. and said these remarks. I wish all of this racism would stop, but I guess it never will.

It is a sad state too see. Racism has never slowed its pace. For a while it was a social thing to be politcally correct, now that has come to an end. The funny thing is that for so many peole who don't think American Africans are productive, they steal our music, fashion sense, lingo, they even get tans so they can look like us. Yet at our jobs, our natural hair is not acceptable, nor our ebonics(broken english you made us learn when you took our natural languages away during slavery but it is okay for every other race to speak english with their accent) We are expected to walk white, act white talk white, all the while you are absorbing our culture quicker than we can manifest it. You don't like rap but every major manufacturer is using it in advertising. I have seen more white boys wearing the pants around there ankle and calling there girlfriend bzzzy than ever. I have seen more white women dating our men than our men dating us. Yeah so we are a little slow taking up in the reading area. But you know that we have only had the right to read less that over 6 or 7 generations. As for us asking for what we got or us deserving what we get. You brought us here so i think you may be getting something you deserve. American Africans are the only ones in the united states that didn't run to come here. We were shackled and dragged. And yes it is still affecting us so stop saying get over it. It has defined our whole existance in the country. Thank you. As for White supremcies and Neo nazi group. Why do they feel so threaten? They didn't feel that way when they were sleeping with our women. You know that is how we got mullato and other wonderful shades of black. Let's keep it real, if you think black people are so screwed up. Stop trying to turn yourself into us and stop trying to convert us into you. Oh and by the way for all of you ignorant people in our nations history there where 5 black presidents of the united states the first one is on the back of the 2 dollar bill he is the only black man to sign the declaration of independence. but they omitted his face from the picture in the rotunda in the white house. He was a spanish Moor. don't take my word for it. look it up and see how terrible us black folks our that you voted 5 to lead the country. They were trying to pass for white. the only one that got called out was hamilton and he had a duel over it. don't take my word for it research it. you'd be suprise at what you find.

Well as stated before, whites have always hated blacks and always will.NOT ALL. But most. I think that for a few years the hate was closeted, but now its making its way back to the open. I do see more and more white people with certain predetermined beliefs about blacks in general. It does seem like you can feel the racial tension again between both groups. Obviously we didn't seem to learn from our past and sadly enough, i believe we are about to repeat it. I think we are a hop, skip and jump away from race riots, and just the civil rights days ALL OVER again. *sighs*

i'm white and that i grew to become into waiting in the back of this redneck dude at present at mcdonalds and he grew to become into like "tell the mexicans working back there no queso, keep in mind no queso" which purely appeared fairly impolite, and that i advise yeah, i'm a white guy and that i've got definately can see the place you're coming from. yet by making use of the comparable token i've got been abused by making use of black people calling me a "dumass cracker" on the bus earlier i began out driving my bike. i've got had a hispanic and black female buddy and actually, I style of hate blondes, everybody has their preferencs. Racism exist, there is not any question approximately it, we gained't evade individuals from being racist, yet we are in a position to attempt our desirable to no longer emulate them

Oh good heavens. Racism is everywhere, you cant stop it and to some degree it is in us all. To act towards someones culture is a phad and goes loopity-loop throughout the years. First its "lets all act like black people!" now its "omg i totally like hate them!" Good heavens what will these kids come up with next. Rude, and ignorant. Pathetic. I bet you aren't the only one, just don't be a part of it :)

I personally don't believe that this form of racism ever left our society, we only managed to tuck it away for a while. I was watching a program on t.v. the other day about white supremacist groups, and it said that their numbers were on a dramatic rise in the US. Scary thought!
When it comes to kids and teens, I think a lot of it has to do with peer pressure, blending in and looking cool. If someone perceives an act as something cool then someone else wants to do it too, then another, then another. So right now what you have on your hands is a school full of people who follow instead of think for themselves. Either that or your school is full of kids who've been brainwashed by bigoted, ignorant, don't-deserve-to-be parents.

Personally, I feel that there has been more racism towards hispanics, especially with the whole illegals crossing the border situation. But overall racism has increased over the past couple of years
