I have recently found intrest in manga. i have already read trigun, inu yasha , neon genesis, bleach, and naruto. so please don't mention them.

I would recommend :
a. Hikaru no go - it's a beautiful story about GO. You would really think it's boring but it's really not. It has nice drawings and a beautifully paced storyline that engages you. (Completed)
b. Beck - It's a common storyline, but surprises and nice tie-ins with music abound all over the manga. (Ongoing)
c. Nodame Cantabile - Weird artwork but very FUNNY and unusual. Classical music has never been interesting for me but after reading this it inspired me to know more about it. (Ongoing)
Read the first chapters online first so you can get into the mood. Then you can decide if you want to continue reading it :D

Rurouni Kenshin. There are three seasons. The third season of the manga was never shown on the anime. Very good manga and anime.

i've never exactly read any of these and have no idea what some of them are about, but i know people who like inu yasha, bleach, naruto, etc. who also liked these.
