I just moved in to my new place not to long ago and have this crackhead neighbor lady to deal with. When I've talked to her, she's been nice and polite to me. But shes always asking for a ride to places to do her drug deals and stuff. I dont want to escort her around all the time especially if I get pulled over and cops find some crack on her or something. She is just so annoying with these asking for rides and I am tired of coming up with excuses. What should I do?

Why are some of you saying that I did give her a ride, I never did...

Tell her you started training to become a police officer, she'll stop asking you without you saying no to her.

well if you can get out of your lease, i would suggest move. If it costs you 200 dollars to get out of the lease i would do it. It would be better than spending the night or maybe more in the slammer, plus a bail bond possibly worth 1,000 dollars or more. Otherwise tell the lady that you like her as a person but basically she needs to get lost and find her own transportation because you don't want to get in trouble for her. You don't want to be an accessory to the crime either. also, next time she comes around, walk the other direction or pretend you aren't home.

just tell her no that you don't want to get caught up with her and leave it at that! i have a neighbor that used to be a heroin addict but has been clean for 15 years but he still has that drug addict way of asking for rides and always borrowing weird things like light bulbs because he doesn't want to buy it himself so now i just don't answer the door or i say I'm in a hurry or cant find my keys! we are still good neighbors but he got the hint!

Do not take her anywhere, esp if you know she's going to buy drugs. Besides the possibility of being arrested yourself, and all that entails, your car would be impounded. You don't need this. Agree with other posters, move if you don't think she'll take "no" for an answer.

Move if you can. And guess what Smart One?? ANY sensible person would know better than to drive a crack dealer around. Come one....a waste of 5 points.

Simple just tell her you can not afford to run any extra errands, you appreciate her as a neighbor but don't wish to get caught up in any ones personal life. Wish her a good day and go home.

Tell her, With all that energy she gets from doing her crack she should be able to walk to all those places she needs to go. We need to become more environmentally friendly anyways. Gas pollutes.

Tell her no, flat out. You have to be firm with people like that or, like the old saying says, if you give them an inch, they'll take a mile.
