Any woman who relies on a man for money in any way, shape or form is a prostitute!!! I don't think hillary relies on bill for cash, she's quite well-to-do all on her own.

I have a woman friend who thinks so. In Hillary's case, I guess she must love the guy. Otherwise, why put up with his outrageous behavior? They've been together since college days, and they're both filthy rich. She "needs" Bubba only to the point of whether or not she gets into the White House. A divorced person might not get elected, and she could be accused of being disloyal, ha ha. Either way, if no love is involved she could dump him after the election. Hillary has plenty of her own money and power, so she doesn't need to leech off of anyone. As far as prostituting herself to Bill goes-ewww. Visions of Monica, the thong, and the cigar are probably still dancing in her head. That would tend to negate any married love I would think.

The premise of this question is stupid and seriously underestimates Hillary's own strengths as a candidate and a person. Sure, Bill has helped her a lot, and she'd be a fool not to take his advice - he does have the knack or instinct of knowing how to connect to the popular pulse. But Hillary has a lot of strengths that folks aren't aware of - she is a very focused, incredibly disciplined politician who knows very well how to channel resources and direction, and has built an solid infrastructure.

As for the "prostitute" accusation - that is just silly. Maybe she and Bill have really worked out their issues in the marriage and they care for each other. It seems like a double standard is at work here when you have a philanderer like Giulani who openly paraded around with his mistress on Mothers' Day and has recently married his THIRD wife, yet nothing is said about that.

most women become prostitutes and don't even realize it, but then MEN are the biggest sluts in the entire world. And I must agree -- Giuliani is a poor example of a man. as were quite a few other 'political bigwigs'. But I look at Guilliani...getting old, obviously having false teeth, not at all attractive. And look at his wife. Both of them. Nothing. Hilary is quite a woman to have put up with Clinton's philandering, but then there are of course, quite a few other women in government whose husbands are or were doing the same things ...and just were never caught.
and why would anyone be interested in whether or not Hilary and Bill sleep together.

You sound mighty Macho. If we could see you ask that question, perhaps you'd be pounding your chest and roaring! Many women stay with philandering men, most of them not powerful. Your suggestion that this makes a woman a prostitute is insulting to any decent woman who has gone through a marital crisis and decided to stick it out, perhaps for the sake of the children.

These Conservatives who bleat "Morality" and speak "Sexist Muck" ought to be muzzled.

The technical term for what you described is a meritricious relationship. That come from being a mistress, a wife, a concubine or even a prostitute. Essentially, you promote yourself by maintaining a relationship with the powerful person, not out of love but out of self interest. In other words, your in it for the money.
Now, as regards our former first lady and her now prospective first husband, I think they are both in it for the prestige the position brings. She already did the meritricious bit during her previous stay in the white house. Now he is doing the meritricious bit by trying to hang on to her coat tails. I don't think she needs him any more, but he does need her.
Frankly, I don't care for either of them and shudder to contemplate four or eight years under her administration.

I agree with Kenoismy. By the way, who is Hitlary?

Flip the coin who is more powerful him or her. I think it is her and I think she stays with him even because of what he has done for the purpose of showing she can get over things and the fact that it looks good to stand by your husband.n I believe a lot of it is for political posturing but then I am not her so she may really still love him.

How do you know that she stayed with him only to gain power? Could it be that after living with him for 30+ years and raising a daughter with him - she just might still be in love with him? And why are you not asking about the morality of a man like Guiliani who is on his 3rd marriage and committed adultery for over a year with his current wife? Or asking about Fred Thompson who divorced his wife and married some young babe over 20 years younger?

If you're talking about Hillary Clinton, no. She is as much a scheming, lying manipulator as is her husband Bill. They do not have a true marriage. They just use each other for political gain.

Only if she is with him for only money and/or power, and does not truly love him. As for Hilary, I do have issues with her, and I am a liberal. But the issues I have with her have nothing to do with whether she chooses to stay with her husband or not. That is of no importance to anyone other than the two people involved, and is none of anyone Else's business. *sm*
