When I tried to use "Check Spelling" on my question
it wanted to change the word...plaese to please, the word...anser to answer, and the word....qeustoin to question!!
Go figure.

My question is, why can't people check their spelling before posting a question?

They do it because they're dumb and don't care about the English language. What has happened to the world???

I'm 19 and it bugs me horribly to see the younger generation, and people my age, using terrible grammar and spelling everything incorrectly. Is it really that hard to type "you" instead of "u"?

Come on people!

Modern technology and the fact that everything is so easy nowadays has turned mankind into lazy a$$es. Even reading something over seems much too tiring for some people. Others just seem to have a hard time with their spelling.

Because not all people give that much thought about it. I actually just dumped a friend because she was so condescending to me about my grammar. I can carry a great conversation but not so great at spelling. When you become too critical of people it's a big turnoff. Try to loosen up a bit and realize there is way more important things then perfect spelling on yahoo answers.

Lord only knows why some folks don't check their questions before posting them. It could be because in this fast paced world people are just too busy to slow down and do what's right. But that's just my own opinion.

Ha ha ha. (slightly sarcastic laughter). They're either lazy, or too illiterate to realise when the spell checker doesn't differentiate between homonyms like their, there and they're or grammatical confusions like we're/were.

I don't get it either. I can see MAYBE not using it when you want to answer really fast but there's no reason NOT to do it when you post a Q!

I don't know. I do, I also type in complete sentences.

People seemed to have forgotten what adjectives are too.

I can only assume that it's one of two things. Either they don't care, or they want to be the first to answer.
