I am planning to go to Lake Tahoe this long weekend (23 Nov - 25 Nov 07). I see that all the ski lifts and resorts are closed and they report base snow depth of 0''. Would you know of locations at Lake Tahoe where I could see and walk on snow?

I think Sierra at Tahoe and Northstar at Tahoe have some skiable runs.

Boreal was open for a while but had to close down due to the warm weather. I hear Heavenly is planning on opening for Thanksgiving. If all you want to do is walk on snow, Donner Summit might be a place to try as it is right on the interstate.
You need to check the weather and ski reports. So far, this has been a nice warm winter.

Only Mammoth Ski Resort is open at the moment. Which means that there isn't enough snow anywhere. though I think some places are starting to make snow. There isn't a whole of snow around as it has been too warm and not enough rain.
