That depends on what the warrant was for if you dont reply you will go to jail anyway just a matter of time,my best advice for you is to get an attorney and let them haggle over it.Most attorneys first visit is free and they can help you or tell you how to handle it.Good Luck

Well I had the same thing happen in Illinois and they gave me a new court date then terminated the probation unsatisfactorily which means I can never get probation again. Then again I have changed my life and am in school to be a paralegal. They can also violate you and send you to jail or prison for remainder of time you have on probation and then some more for violating. If being in jail is one of the things you were not to do while on probation then unless you get a sympathetic and understanding judge I feel you may be looking at time.

How is it possible to violate probation while incarcerated? Actually, it isn't. ANYTHING that got you incarcerated would have REVOKED your probation. This is ONLY possible if you were incarcerated in a different jurisdiction than where you were on probation. In that case, being in a different jurisdiction was a violation in and of itself.
