I use Tide, the mountain fresh one, with the same scent in the fabric softener, and then Downy dryer sheets. I know you don't need both the fabric softener and dryer sheets, but they smell so good, just like when I was growing up, and they stay that way for days, not just a few minutes.

I use Tide with Bleach alternative cuz its safe to use on colors. I think if your clothes and towels are smelly then maybe you aren't getting all the germs, sweat and Body odor off/out of them(also be sure to dry clothes and towels right away-less chance of mold smell)..the bleach alternative helps. I also occassionally use the clorox 2 with regular tide or gain. I use downy with febreze fabric softener cuz it smells to me like apples and works for a really long time. I love Bounce fabric sheets! And the target brand is really good too..works the same but chaper. All these things combined yield great smelling, thoroughally clean laundry! Good Luck. :D lmao i hope i helped alot

I love Gain detergent, softener and dryer sheets. My clothes stay smelling good for along time after washing. I have tried all the others and I like Gain the best.

Try Ivory Snow or Dreft. Dryer sheets will clog your lint filter on the dryer. If you use dryer sheets, run water over your filter...It won't go through. they deposit a waxy film all over the inside of your dryer. Ever notice that towels that are washed with fabric softner aren't as absorbant -- they are now full of wax from the fabric softner. Want your clothes to smell fresh??? dry them outside on a clothes line.

i might say sure. i do no longer use cleansing soap that has it, yet I upload fabrics softener to the wash and that i nonetheless consistently placed a dryer sheet in to boot. I word the version if I in straightforward terms use a million or the different. For some reason towels come out plenty softer if i exploit the two.

The towels need bleach to get the bacteria out, that is probably what is makeing them smell.
I have to use high efficiency detergent so I just buy the cheapest one or the one I have a coupon for, same with dryer sheets.

use a liquid soap, powders will build up an smell up your cloths, [and clog up the pump] buy a liquid fab sofner also, put it in the washer, dryer sheets are a waste of $
