post questions on Y/A and then post another link for either the answer - or just for the question itself. It seems to me that if I wanted to visit another site, I would not be logged on to Yahoo Answers! Does anyone else share my confusion?

I won't answer those because I don't open websites since my last virus. It seem to me that you should take the time & effort to type out the question or answer.

Well I guess I tick you off real good because I add links all the time just because I can . If you get bugged by something this trivial, remember there is a war going on where people actually die through no fault of their own fighting a war nobody wanted in the first place. If you see a question from me, just skip it because I like sharing with those who appreciate it.

Sorry you were confused. But some items and videos are worth a look at , and you can't copy and paste video clips. Also we are restricted to a certain amount of characters, and I don't like taking up a whole page with a question.

Referring to older question, the pages number change so quickly, it is hard to go back. But at the same time, the world does not revolve around Yahoo, there are many other interesting things on other site. If you want to share them, you put the site up. Relax, there are many other interesting questions you can answer. :)

No..they don't bother me.But, I usually wait until someone else on here uses it and makes a comment about it. If it looks safe...then I go to it. But you have to be careful. We had one computer really messed up because of some of them. Sometimes people answer the same questions so many times, they get tired of answering and refer you to Y/A "similar questions asked".That way you get a double the answers.I never saw a link used for a "question" though.

I don't have a problem with that, what I can't understand is why the same questions are being posted? The question about braille on drive-thru ATM machines was on here 3 different times in two days! I don't think it is just kids either!

No, I don't mind if a link is provided with information that is needed, I prefer that to a long cut and pasted answer. I can refer to the link later if I need to, I just try to make sure it is a legitimate site.

No it doesn't bother me. When someone sees something of interest it's just a click away. I usually find it interesting myself. Why cut and paste when you can link there? If you don't like it you wouldn't have to click on the link.
Sorry you are annoyed with this. Take care.

No, it doesn't upset me. If the link works then I don't mind looking at a previous question or a different website. I understand why they do it because it would take FOREVER to retype all the information.

As long as it's relevant to the question, I'm fine with it. Sometimes it helps to explain the answer. Have you ever heard the expression "A picture is worth a thousand words"? It's the same thing.
