Dragonforce is great at making records but sucks live.
I have never seen them live, but from what I heard from my friend and seen on You tube, I'd have to agree.

Maybe they don't suck the quality of the video is just bad?

Here i go...again. NO , they may be better live. I just bought "Inhuman Rampage" , and wished i hadn't. Sure , i'm a "Shred" dude , and have some chops on guitar myself (if i don't mind saying..) , but i don't get Dragonforce. What i don't "Get", is why they are taken so serious. All the "fans" think that they are so awesome, what? because they play at hyper speed? Man! Fast is good..sure , in some cases, but i find no substance with this band - i mean, if there EVER was a band that earned the "Every song sounds the same" tag , Dragonforce is IT! Herman Li is hot in all the guitar mags , but i swear - i can't hear ONE vibrato note in his playing! It's like someone who plays a massive amount of video games sat down and said "And now...i will learn...GUITAR!" YOu guys can have it, i've already put out the feelers to unload my copy of IR...

Disagree. Dragonforce sounds like Journey on speed. They suck on CD or live.
Real metal doesn't make you dizzy from the sound but from not being able to control the head banging.

Disagree they just suck overall. Live and selling records. And its just over produced over the surface mainstream hyped up band that everyone thinks they are the gods of metal, according to everyone I've come in contact with in real life when discussing about music.

Dragonforce makes me laugh.
I havent seen them live either, but I bet they would suck.

Well...to be honest, almost every live sucks.....in the studios you can do what you want and you have time, but live,hmmm, I often play live and i always have that stupid feeling like, ou damn they don't like the music, but than, who cares anyway.... what i meant is that live concerts are always kinda worse...

If they suck live, then that means that they're overproduced and suck in real life.
