The egg, obviously; the first chicken was caused by a spontaneous mutation from a very similar bird. This original bird laid an egg which had a mutation...and out popped the first chicken.

Egg.
The egg was really a dinosaur (that is the chickens ancestor) egg and overtime becuase of how it lived, evolved to a chicken. So the egg came first.
