will the performance decrease ALOT? if so how bad will it be? is it neccessary for me to upgrade my cpu to amd 6000+?

Your processor will significantly bottleneck the 8800GT Consider upgrading to the X2 5000+ Black Edition. It easily overclocks to 3.1gHz and performs like the X2 6000+ but at LOWER wattage. That means powerful but COOL.

CPU will be a bottleneck but it wont be too bad. Depends on what resolutions you want to run the game at/your monitor can support. Obviously with a better CPU you will be able to reach the gfx cards full potential.

yes, it will be pretty bad, especially if you play heavy games. you will have to upgrade even past the amd 6000+. you will need a dual core x2 processor

Yes,its decreases alot man..because its not balanced.U need change to dual core processor
