i just wanted to know how old were you when you got pregnant and how did you find out you were pregnant? i would love to here your stories thanks girls

I was 20 when I was pregnant for the first time. My husband and I were married quite young, he was 19 and I was 18. It was a planned pregnancy, but it was back in the day when home pregnancy tests were unheard of and there was no such thing as the world wide web to search these things on. The old-fashioned way was to wait until you missed your period than call the doctor to go in for a blood test. I went to the doctor on my husband's 21st birthday so I got to tell him that I was pregnant for a surprise present. It was common in those days to wait until you were 3 months along before telling other people to get past the riskiest time for miscarriage. Our other 3 children were born when I was 23, 26, and 38. Nope, that isn't a typo. I am one of those lucky few who got pregnant while taking birth control pills. I had been taking them faithfully for 11 years when I began having stomach trouble. We were all shocked to find out that what my doctor originally thought was Irritable Bowel Syndrome was actually our youngest daughter waiting to join our family!

With my first I was 21 and I found out while on vacation in Mexico with my family. My boyfriend was back home...I had 20 pesos left and my period was late so I bought a test and it came back POSITIVE!! I had to call my boyfriend (who is now my hubby by the way) from Mexico...I could hear his nervousness over the phone! We where both nervous and scared!!! I was convinced it was probably a defective test since it was from another country (just trying to convince myself there might be a chance I wasnt) Took two more test that came out positive before I finally had it confirmed at the doctors office. I am 7 months pregnant with my second, I am 24 and this was a planned pregnancy so there is not much suprised in finding out about those....:-)

I fell pregnant with my first at 16, second at 17, third at 20, and I am now 37 weeks with my fourth and I am 21. With the first 2 I only took one EPT. I figured since it was error proof then it must be right. With the last two I just new. I never had morning sickness but my husband did. He always gets the pregnancy symptoms. We have been together since I was 14 and he was 16. He is the father of all four and are happily married.

21, I found out right after my hubby got deployed to Iraq for the 4th time. It actually took awhile for me to realize that I was pregnant. Between him leaving, school, and working 7 days a week, I thought I was just stressed and didn't even realize that I was late. Even when the morning sickness started, I only slightly thought that it could be pregnancy. Well, I had morning sickness really bad (as in 24 hours a day, and couldn't even keep water down) and ended up in the hospital for a few days, they confirmed that I was pregnant. I was totally shocked!

I was 15 1/2 when i first fell pregnant he is now almost 6. 18 when i fell pregnant with my daughter but she was still born at birth. I then had another little boy when i was 19. And now im 22 and 8 weeks pregnant.

I became pregnant june of this year! "My First Pregnancy Ever" i was 23 at the time i turned 24 this october. I had just quit birth control after taking them for four years non stop. i finished my last pack in june an became pregnant rite after my period! amazing huah....I never new pregnancy could've happen soooo quick after being on the pill so long! i guess im BLESSED :)...although we didnt planned it we are so so happy and excited! we even got engaged for my birthday, i guess babies do bring blessing! i will be 23 weeks tomorrow and due march 2008!


ps i found out in august... i took a home test end of july and it was a false negative...took a next n august an it said positive yayyyyy lol...snd confirmed with my doc early sept

I'm 14 and I went to a doctor. When I first found out that I was pregnant I got scared because my boyfriend had left me so I didn't know how to tell him. When I did tell him, he didn't believe me until I showed him the doctor records that they gave me. He got mad then sad. Well he didn't know if he was goin to be there for the baby or not. A couple of weeks later. I had a miscarriage because of a four wheelin accident. I was five weeks pregnant at the time. I do miss my son/daughter. I wish that I could've had it. Do you have any advice for me? E-mail me if you do. I also wanna know if I have any more chances of getting pregnant and keepin the baby. I have already had 2 miscarriages. : (

24 years when I found out. It was just a fluke that I found out. In order to take a certain medication to make me have a period (I have PCOS and my periods do not come by themselves), I have to take a pregnancy test first to make sure I wasn't pregnant. We were told we couldn't have a baby on our own, so it wasn't a big deal to take a test every 3 months. I took it and was pleasantly surprised that it was positiive. Because my periods were off though, I was only 4 weeks pregnant when I took the tests. It was confirmed through sonogram exactly how far along I was.

I am 23 and just found out last week. I knew it was possible that I was pregnant, but I really didn't expect getting the positive on my HPT. I have taken 3 so far and will probably be taking more before I see my Dr next month.

I was 20 at the time and found out through the Heath unit pregnancy test. ( same as what a doctor would do only much easier to get in to)

it was a shocker cause I was actually really going to the health unit to change my Birth control to something else( busy busy busy and just wanted to not always worry about a pill each day) but due to what we thought was the flu and a missed period due to stress Both my Bf and I thought it be best to get a test done wile I was there.
