You can boot into dos and format C: which is pointless since
I'm assuming you'll want to install windows again, so you need a windows CD + working CD key just put the CD in restart your computer, make sure that CD is higher up in the bootlist than harddrive. The windows installation should start up and through that you can format your hard drive, then it will proceed to install.

If my assumption was incorrect, you can go to http://www.bootdisk.com and get an MS-DOS boot disk and boot into DOS. Type in format C: unless your drive is mapped to a different letter, it will completely wipe your harddrive.

First of all do you have Anti Virus that has scanned your computer? Second I.E. isnt the best browser. You should switch to Firefox. Yes you can use the recovery disk to reinstall windows. just boot up the disk and select restore to factory settings etc. BUT FORMATTING WILL DELETE ALL DATA!! so back up first!

Hi. Your simplest solution may be to add another drive.
