A month after my friends divorce is final the X doesn't want to pay child support. After 7 yrs. he's now claiming she cheated and does not want to pay child support. It's all about the money. She had the help of a fertility dr. to conceive. Kids look exactly like him. . .

As others have said, in most places, it no longer matters if he is the BIOLOGICAL father. By failing to challenge paternity for 7 years, he has accepted LEGAL paternity. Even if a DNA test determines he is not the biological father, he is still on the hook for child support.

With a judge's court order, he would be required to submit to DNA paternity blood test. It's just like a subpoena, but for blood. The District Attorney of your country, as your attorney for the State can easily get it. In fact, if he is a father with back owed child support (deadbeat dad) than you may prevail more quickly. You need to pursue this until you receive what your child deserves--two parents supporting and caring for the child's physical and emotional well being.

Well, if they were married when the children were born, he IS the LEGAL FATHER and is required to pay child support...
Tell your friend to take him on the Maury Povich show.. they do paternity tests all the time.

Wow! What a dirtbag. What kind of scumbag denies his kid after 7 years? Not to mention you went through fertility treatment. I hope the judge laughs in his face.

A DNA test from an AABB certified laboratory.
It shouldn't come to that. If they were married, the burden of proof would be on him after this much time...and even if she DID cheat, the court wouldn't let him cut ties on a 7-year-old. The court would find that he didn't contest it in a timely manner.
