I have bought a pair of chrome wiper sets, but after a few weeks i have noticed that their starting to get a little rusty. Any suggestions on how i can prevent more rust coming? It does look silly, should i just paint it. If so with what type of paint?

Chrome wiper sets should be illegal. You should not have anything in your line of sight that can reflect the sun. That's why they are low-luster black to start with. That's also why the area in front of the cockpit on some airplanes is flat black, and the same reason some football players put black under their eyes. Paint them with flat black Rustoleum or put the old ones back on. Chrome wiper sets also look redneck and low-budget, like you just drove in from Tijuana.

i suggest just going with basic plastic wipers. they last just as long as any other wipers and they dont rust. and the rust might come back and bite ya in the @$$ if they keep rusting.

It is not crome wipers - they ripped you off. Chrome do not rust!!!

They probably sold you polished (or buffed) steel wipers.

And I agree - chrome wipers look red neck.

I would just buy black or coordinated wipers. By the time you buy paint, get it all over your clothes, and the car.....
