It's all connnected with the type of weather we've been having. It's been warm later this year than is average, so the leaves hang on longer.
Also, the types of trees drop their leaves at different times. If you'll notice, the maples drop first (red leaves), then the birch (yellow), finally the oak (brown).
Happens every year. Don't worry.

I live in Massachusetts, this is Thanksgiving week, Monday actually, and I just had my lawn guy come out for the second time to get all the Norway maple leaves, and some oak and euonimis, forsythia, and Jap maple leaves.
The weather has been so warm, and even though the sun is not helping with the chlorophyll production, the warmth and lack of rainy late Autumn windy storms has allowed the leaves to remain stuck to the trees..
I live in Northern Massachusetts on the New Hampshire border, we do not get a huge amount of Ocean Windy, Rainy storms, so we have leaves still.
But Today ,Monday the 19th I had to drive to Cape Cod for work.
They get wind, and rain, off the Ocean, so all the dead leaves are down, not clinging to the trees like they are here.
It actually for ONCE looks more like winter on Cape Cod than in Southern New Hampshire/Northern Massachusetts!

It's that way in the south, too. The leaves really didn't even start changing color until the first week in November (usually it's first part of October) and there are still a good bit of leaves on the trees. Pretty, though! I'm enjoying the extended season.

The trees in Cleveland are so stupid they don't even know its time to deleaf. Chop them down and replace with smarter trees from the coastal areas of the country.

I think that some of it is due to the dry weather this year and it has been warm also but they will all fall in due time. God bless
