New England patriots? Perfect season?

The Pats will be knocked off by a horrible team. It happens almost every year there is a possibility of an undefeated. The last time I though a team might go 16-0 was 1998 Broncos and the horrible Giants (that year) picked them off. After a while it's a game of overconfidence. Just look at the Steelers/Jets this week. I know the Steelers weren't undefeated but they should have wiped the floor with NY.

Some are saying the Patriots may go all the way to 16-0 & if they do, they be the first team in the history of the NFL to do so. The only team that was undefeated in the NFL was the 1972 Dolphins who went 14-0 & all the way to win the SuperBowl that year. Some are skeptical about it because there is no way that any team in the NFL will ever top the Dolphins perfect season of '72 & if it ever happens, history will change once again.

ok if the Patriots play half as good as there first half of the season they will go 19-0. Unless God him self comes down and plays the Patriots for a game. Then Patriots go 18-1 lol

The answer to your question rest in the hands of the last game of the season. Two issues. 1st, will that game mean something to the Giants? 2nd, will the Pats get greedy and try to be undefeated or will they rest their stars for the playoff push? If that game means something to the Giants and the Pats rest their stars, the answer is no. If the Giants rest their stars and the Pats don't, the answer is yes. Nobody knows, so we will see.

I'll be more surprised if they don't go 19-0!
Reasons:
Record Setting Offense,
Great Defense,
And Only Play 2 Teams with .500 Better Average
(Steelers and Giants)

Not really, even if they do what counts its the playoff and super bowl and let me tell you that team is cursed forever for arrogance, you'll see that they will not win another super bowl, mark my words.

Next thing you know that team is going to get separated. Moss is a free agent next year and I know about some good offers from other teams that Pats won't match.

I doubt it. They will rest players the last couple of games. The final goal is winning the SB, not going 19-0.

if they go 16-0, they won't go to the Super Bowl, something tells me this

if they go 15-1 or 14-2, they will go to the Super Bowl

something about losing that snaps a team back into reality

the only reason i say no iz bc they will not let tom brady start against the new york giants since the giants sack the QB so many times and the pats back up sux so they CANNOT let tom brady get hurt
if they beat pittsburgh, which i think they will, i see them going 15-1
