You should call your pharmacist and ask. This is probably more important than asking on a forum. You don't want to give the wrong kind or the wrong dosage if you have not given your 2 year old anything before this.

(Speaking from experience with a pharmacist in the family.)

Nothing.. unfortunatly you shouldnt give a child under the age of 6 OTC drugs (cold meds) because there has been no research done to see the effects that it has on kids younger than that. You could potentially give the child a drug overdose..
try running a humidifer with some vicks or something in it if she gets congested.

hope she gets better soon!

You can experiment with some childrens nasal decongestants... but the best thing in the world I have found is called Zymine. It works amazing wonders on my child, and he has terrible seasonal allergies. The bad thing is you need a script from a doctor to get it... But if you can get her to a doctor, the drug name is Zymine. It's an apple flavored syrup, and my son despises taking meds, but he likes this one! Best of luck!

Saline nasal spray with bulb suctioning. They sell it over the counter. My husband is a physician. This was his response.

And if she has a fever, see a doctor.

You can give her a little benadryl at naptime/bedtime to help her sleep. Otherwise, give her apple juice, cuddles, and let the cold run it's course.
