The shovel head worm is harmless to humans and eats snails, slugs, etc. But the problem is that they eat the earthworms too and I want to keep my earthworms. Also I am tired of peeling them off of my cats and dogs, it creates a nasty sticky issue.
Any help appreciated! Thanks

since no management suggestions are forthcoming, I'd go for some of the anti-slug stuff... like diatomaceous earth, copper plate, iron sulphate slug baits, etc..... used coffee grounds should scrape them up some and sprayed coffee might irritate them the same as it does slugs.... won't hurt to try, fer sure..... strange beasties.....
