I am 21 years old, and i have been sexually active for years. Regardless of what some people believe i don't believe in waiting until marriage to have sex. So I have been involved in 2 previous sexual relationships that became very dull and after i broke up with my boyfriend last year i wasn't having sex until recently. Lately when i have been having sex with my current boyfriend i have been getting really wet and it isn't because I'm really turned on. I was worried and went and got tested but i dont have anything not even a yeast infection. Ive never expierienced this before and I'm afraid it's making my boyfriend feel wierded out. So i stopped initiating sex, and he's been complaining that we've been having less sex. So I'm guessing it doesnt bother him that much, but its really bothering me. Does anyone have any advice you can give me on why i get so wet.

Every woman is different so there are many factors to consider...

What is your diet like? Do you drink a lot of water? Other liquids? Soy products? Oftentime soy can cause extra vaginal lubrication.

What about the wetness makes you uncomfortable? Does it look or smell different than it normally does? How often has it occured? Sometimes when women ovulate your vaginal secretions can be different. Do you wear cotton undies? That is always a good thing to do to keep everything well-ventilated.

Getting really wet is something that happens. It could in fact be that you're really turned on. Sometimes mind and body operate on their own.

And how do you know your boyfriend is wierded out? Talk to him about this.

Also, count your lucky stars that you are able to become so lubricated! Sometimes it poses a problem for many women to get wet.

Have fun!

The amount of lubrication you produce will change throughout your life, and even during the course of your cycle. It tends to be related to your estrogen levels: higher estrogen=more wetness. If you've recently gone on a hormonal contraceptive, that might do it.

If you two want more friction during sex, you can blot yourself with a handkerchief, or try using an unlubricated condom. Otherwise, don't stress. A well-lubricated vagina makes for comfortable sex and a lower likelihood of nasty infections like candida or bv getting hold of you... it's perfectly normal and natural.

(I hope you dont mind a guy giving an answer).

My wife did not understand when I reacted so strongly one night when I was fondling her a bit and suddenly got interested when I found a warm pool of wetness.

"It's just moist down there!" she said.

But to a guy - this is a sign of arousal. The "Honey Dew" is a real turn on for us.

Your boyfriend is a lucky guy.

Are you sure you are weirding him out? Plus, you may not think that you are turned on...but maybe because you put yourself in a situation where you know psychologically that you could have sex...your body is responding to that by being wet, even if you are thinking that you aren't turned on.

well thank god nothing is wrong with u healthwise first of all, other than that, i dont think he shoud feel "weirded out" by this, its only natural, if it gets on him so wat! if it does bother him though, maybe he isnt mature enough to understand a woman, but i doubt he will.
good luck..
