This is so embarrasing.
I'm 14, and when I urinate, or even sometimes just randomly, a clear or whitish substance comes out of you know where.
Is this normal?

I would either talk with the your mother, family doc or school nurse. If this is accompanied by any pain, itching or burning, you probably have a yeast infection. These are NOT an STD (although they can be passed thru sex) and are actually kind of normal. Most women get at least one or two in their lives. For some women there is no pain or burning and therefore, other than discharge, they have little to no symptoms or way of knowing that they have it. It could be as simple as that. Since you're concerned, I'd ask someone to make you an appointment and ask if you could go to the room alone, explain the problem to your doc and then, if you're comfortable, have the doc tell your parent(s) what the problem is. Even though you are young, you still have a right to privacy where medical issues are concerned. Good luck ...

If your urine is clear, it means you are healthy. But if you are having a whitish discharge that's perfectly normal. But it it turns yellow or hurts to urinate, it might be a yeast infection.

Absolutely!! Clear/white discharge is very normal. As long as there is no itching, foul(fishy) smell, or the discharge is a different color, then everything is going fine. Don't worry.

It is fairly normal to have some discharge at times.
If it has a really strong odor or if there is any discomfort you should ask you doctor.
If you are sexually active and have had any sex without a condom you should get checked out.
Good Luck!

Very normal. That's discharge. ALL women have it. It keeps the vagina healthy. As long as it isn't a wierd color (blue, green, etc), texture (cottage cheese) or smell (very fishy--it's normal to have a slight odor), then you have nothing to worry about.

Yes, it's normal. It's called discharge and it's just another thing to add to all the 'wonderful' woman things we have to put up with.
