My dear,

I think you give way too much credit to the "someone you trusted". I cannot imagine that the act of warning others would cause your destiny to form a shape other than the one it was originally intended to form. In other words, destiny is predestined. I believe, ones destiny is set, although, it has many avenues through which it is arrived.

I would rather believe that what you misinterpret as an ultimate shaping of your whole destiny is actually the introduction of a detours on the road to it. The road upon which you were traveling has now developed a preverbial fork. This fork forces you to choose whether or not you want to continue along the current path, enduring the repercussions of "someone you trusted"'s warnings; or to take the detour and avoid the trial altogether. The fork of course converges once again into one road, the original road, leading ultimately to the same destiny you were given from the beginning.

My advice to you is to stay the course. Trust that those who have been "warned' will allow themselves to form their own opinion of you, and not be influenced by "someone". Also, know that even if you encounter people who took heed to the warning, let the experience strengthen you somehow. If there will be any shaping of any kind through all this, it will be of your character. Your destiny is only yours to change!

No one can shape your destiny but you. Trust your real friends to know garbage when they hear it. If you are a good and true friend, that carries more weight than a person blathering bald faced lies. As far as the person you trusted, let them go and be no more. Life is too short for unnecessary conflict. Just be more careful in the future whom you call friend. Blessings on you.

first, i dont think that would shape my whole destiny,
second, i would no longer trust that person
and last, i would trust that others i knew took what that person said in context, was the warning justified or not?

Well , i'm smarter than that. Two people tried to do that to me, and i never trusted them in the first place. The bottom line was , i'm smart enough to not "Bad Mouth" people in certain circles - they weren't. In the end , people knew me and they other two lost their credibility. It had NO effect on my life whatsoever, and in retrospect , it was a fun little diversion for me.
