the bank itself will not be allowed to do so until you get the hold released..
kind of like if you have a lien on your car, you cant sell the car until the lien is released

well i'm not sure ifyou can. If so, the bank would not send you the balance of your account until that hold is lifted. you can have all of your automatic deposits stopped though.

no. someone else has dibs on it. all you can do it quit depositing in it. if you open another, they'll just find out and get that one too.
