I am a big Nirvana fan but I don't think that he would still be successful. I think that the band would have split so Dave Grohl could work on his own stuff (Foo Fighters) and Kurt Cobain would have eventually fallen out of the public eye.

No disrespect to him or his fans, but I don't think so. Grunge was very short lived and I don't think he alone could have kept it the 'in' genre for much longer than it was.

Who knows, he did/does have alot of followers however I thought he was awful. He looked dirty, he couldn't sing and he was no where close to Layne Staley (Alice In Chains)...RIP Layne...
